The three position socket allows the Look Out Lantern to be turned on alone or just the top main bulb to be turned on or both can be on at the same time. A very versatile table lamp that is not available anywhere else. Hand made in the U.S.A. by our own craftsmen. The solid Copper Look Out Lantern is styled after lanterns used on sailing ships for hundreds of years. Hand machined in heavy-gauge copper with brass trim. The Fresnel style lens is made to magnify the oil lamp light to be visible for many miles at sea.
The Look Out lantern is named for it's use. The 270 degree white light hoisted to the second mast or the stern part of a ship or boat. A great lamp for boat, yacht, den or nautical living room. A great nightlight or TV light with only the bottom lantern lighted.
