Master craftsmen use historical photographs, drawings or original plans to meticulously handcraft these highly detailed wood models from scratch. They are built to scale with high-grade woods such as western red cedar, rosewood, and mahogany. They are 100% hand built individually using the plank-on-frame construction method, similar to the building of actual ships. Each model requires hundreds of hours to finish and must go through a demanding quality control process before leaving the workshop.

From the bow to the stern, you can see hundreds of shiny brass fittings and cannons. Wood pieces of different shades and colors are carefully selected and used to create an impressive and classy look. The stern is the most decorated area with hundreds of small brass ornaments, brass railing, figurines and lanterns. You will more than likely fall in love with the artwork on the different decks of this model. There are round shaped stairs connected the main deck and the forecastle deck. The main deck is also equipped with a couple of life boats, which even come with their own paddles. Other impressive details include the skylight, ship bell, ship wheel, and so much more.

The included beautiful tabletop display case was made out of hardwood and painted in a rich dark mahogany. It has distinctive designs that add elegance and beauty when displayed in your home or office. It is 100% fully assembled and comes with plexiglass panels on all sides. It features the curved sides which enable it to accommodate models with wide yards. This case is very effective in preventing dust buildup as well as keeping your valuable tall ship looking new and protected at all time.

This model comes standard with a solid wood base and brass nameplate.
