In May of 1911, the Titanic was launched with great fanfare. Unfortunately, at 11:40 pm on the 14th of April 1912, the greatest maritime disaster in history began. During that night of heroism, terror, and tragedy, 705 lives were saved while 1502 lives were lost. Now the Unsinkable Ship is available as a FULLY ASSEMBLED model, ready for display in your home. Master craftsmen use historical photographs, drawings or original plans meticulously handcraft these highly detailed wood models from scratch. They are built to scale with high-grade wood such as western red cedar, rosewood, and mahogany. They are 100% hand built individually using plank-on-frame construction method, similar to the building of actual ships. Each model requires hundreds of hours to finish and must go through a demanding quality control process before leaving the workshop.

The model is painted in red, black, and white, the original colors of the Titanic. There are hundreds of intricate details that truly bring this model to life. All lifeboats are meticulously handcrafted from wood. All riggings are accurately built according to scale. The intricate pieces such as the crane, anchors, stanchions, windows, ladders, steam pipes, and skylight add intricacies that turn this model into a master piece.

The included beautiful tabletop display case was made out of hardwood and painted in a rich dark mahogany. It has distinctive designs that add elegance and beauty when displayed in your home or office. Assembly is required on the case, and comes with plexiglass panels for all sides. This case is very effective in preventing dust buildup as well as keeping your valuable boat looking new and protected at all times.
