Everything Nautical is proud to present the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse (FL) Animated Tide Clock. This stunning clock tracks the tide in true nautical fashion. While the dial counts away the hours between tide cycles below, the top is mechanically animated to show the changing sea level in real time. At high tide the water will sit at the shoreline, and slowly lower to reveal the beach below before beginning to rise again.

While the site for the Jupiter Inlet Light was chosen in 1853, multiple setbacks delayed its construction. It was finally completed in 1860, built atop what was then thought to be an Indian shell mound, but now known to be a natural parabolic sand dune. The top of the tower stands 153 feet above sea level and it's light can be seen for 28 miles. It was painted its iconic red first in 1910 to help cover the discoloration caused by humidity.
