Well known for being a premiere British fighting vessel, the HMS Victory was a 227 foot long ship that could carry 850 men and 104 guns at full capacity. This impressive ship was able to move through the water at 15 to 17 kilometers per hour and weighed as much as 7 tons. This handcrafted replica is a museum-quality piece that will arrive at your door FULLY ASSEMBLED. Each model features a unique serial number on the hull for authenticity and every HMS Victory goes through a demanding quality control inspection prior to shipping to ensure customer satisfaction.
This scale model of Horatio Nelson’s flagship measures 37” L x 12” W x 36” H. It features plank-on-frame construction, three massive decks, and three rows of all-metal cannons on each side. The bowsprit and large masts have been knotted and fastened by hand and the hand-stitched sails are made of fine linen material. Each handcrafted wooden ship takes hundreds of hours to complete and includes intricate details such as an admiral’s quarters, captain’s dining area, and plenty of brass and metal accents.
The included floor standing display case is made out of hardwood and finished in a classy dark mahogany color. It has distinctive designs that add elegance and beauty when displayed in your home or office. It comes 100% fully assembled, complete with plexiglass panels on all sides. It features curved sides which enable it to accommodate models with wide yards. This case is very effective in preventing dust buildup, as well as keeping your valuable tall ship looking new and protected at all time.
Note: Light assembly required to attach the bowsprit and stand to the model. Assembly instructions and materials, including screws, are included.
