The new Diamond Princess is the largest and most innovative vessel in the Princess fleet. The unique Club Fusion combines a nightclub, bar, casino, and cabaret for the ultimate in entertainment. Now it is available as a FULLY ASSEMBLED model, ready to display. Master craftsmen use historical photographs, drawings or original plans meticulously handcraft these highly detailed wood models from scratch. They are built to scale with high-grade wood such as western red cedar, rosewood, and mahogany. They are 100% hand built individually using plank-on-frame construction method, similar to the building of actual ships. Each model requires hundreds of hours to finish and must go through a demanding quality control process before leaving the workshop.
Our model cruise ship is painted in red and white with blue accents. Hundreds of open windows along both sides of the hull represent passenger rooms. Dozens of wooden lifeboats are handmade and meticulously painted in red and white. The top floor has plank decking which makes the model really stand out. In addition, there are several swimming pools located across the top deck as well as the navigation tower, masts, deck rails, winches, the princess logo, and so much more.
This model comes standard with a solid wood base and brass nameplate.
