Outdoor Nautical Decor for Every Beach Party

Even the most casual fan of the beach loves nothing more than a beach party, the sea breezes, the cold drinks, the bonfires, the volleyball games, or simply just sitting on the sand with your toes in the water. Whether your party is boisterous or relaxing, you want your guests to enjoy themselves.

Outdoor Nautical Decor could be used to brighten up any beach space for a party, or if your party is not on the beach, it can create the feel of the sea shore. If you choose functional as well as decorative pieces then you keep them out for your use well after the party.

For serving drinks or party food try a fun fish or dock shaped table. A dock piling can also be used as the post for a serving table, simply place glass or wood on top for the flat surface, or you can group piling around to create fireside seats.

An authentic or even a replica lobster trap is a fun accent as are decorative buoys. Larger ones can be strewn about and smaller ones strung on ropes can be hung on trees or on deck railings along with fish nets. Some bird or fish decorations could be a fun touch as well, from wooden pelicans to durable aluminum crabs.

After the decorations are in place, you can consider what games your guests could also play. If it’s a children’s party, the kids will love a pirate treasure hunt. Gold colored coins can be purchased quite cheaply at any party supply store and are easily buried in the sand. Older kids can follow a simple map to the buried treasure and younger kids can look for a series of Xs on top of the hidden coins. If you’re really creative you can create a more complicated version with clues rather than a map for teens and adults to follow.
