10 Best Luxury Cruise Ships

Oct 22nd 2015

Choosing the ten best luxury cruise ships is very much a matter of personal taste. According to CruiseCompete, the ten best luxury ships are Silver Shadow (Silver Sea), Seabourn Sojourn (Seabourn), Crystal Symphony (Crystal), Seabourn Spirit (Seabourn), Seven Seas Navigator(Regent Seven Seas), Seven Seas Mariner (Regent Seven Seas), Seven Seas Voyager (Regent Seven Seas), Paul Gauguin (Paul Gauguin), SeaDream I (SeaDream Yacht Club), and Crystal Serenity (Crystal). Cruise Critic agrees on two of those ships, the Crystal Serenity and the Paul Gauguin. As for us, any list of ten best luxury cruise ships that doesn't include the Queen Elizabeth II (Cunard), well, we'll just have to agree to disagree.

When you were younger, you had a futon for both bed and couch and bookshelves made of concrete blocks and plywood. Now that you've grown up, your taste in furniture should, too. Why not have nautical furniture that reminds you of sailing on a luxury cruise ship?

Wouldn't your complete collection of Master and Commander and Horatio Hornblower books look great on rowboat bookshelves or a bosun's gig bookshelf? An office needs a desk as well as bookshelves. Our Captain's Desks offer maximum storage in minimum space and are available in black or ivory. We also have Navigator's Desks in black and ivory, which offer a large work surface, but less storage space. A Purser's Chair (again available in black or ivory) complements the desks, or can be used by itself. We also have a French Line Deck Chair, suitable for indoor or outdoor use, similar to the deck chairs that would have been on the stately vessels of the 1920's.

What about a coffee table that looks like a ship's trunk? Offering plenty of storage, this table will do triple duty as coffee table, storage chest, and conversation piece.
